We started with a problem nobody had fixed
Our founding team are serial entrepreneurs with more than 20 years in the security and biometrics industry. Everywhere we looked, physical security had been left behind: most buildings were still running access control on aging, inefficient technology, and the credentials protecting them — RFID cards and key fobs — were easy to clone, tedious to manage and expensive to replace.
Worse, the systems themselves were closed. Ripping one out cost a fortune, and layering anything modern on top of existing infrastructure was difficult to the point of impossible. Security teams were left with a wall of disconnected cameras, doors and logs, and no time to review any of it.
So we went back to the drawing board. We designed a first-of-its-kind multi-function reader and a cloud platform built to be open — one that works with the hardware you already own instead of demanding you replace it. Then we gave it something the industry had never had: an AI operator, Aimee, that watches every camera and every door continuously, and tells your team what actually matters.
