Alocity Joins the PSA Network

PSA named Alocity one of four new technology partners. Here's what the partnership actually changes for the integrators who design, install and service security systems.

On September 25, the PSA Network announced four new technology partners. Alocity was one of them, alongside Actall, BEA and Haven Lock.

We're genuinely glad to be there. But a logo on a partner page isn't news, and we'd rather spend the next few hundred words on the part that actually matters: what changes for the people who design, install and service these systems every day.

Why PSA, specifically

PSA is the largest consortium of professional systems integrators in the world. More than 500 branch locations. Over 13,500 industry professionals. Something north of $5 billion a year in security, fire, life safety and pro AV installations.

Those numbers are impressive, but they're not the reason we wanted in. PSA members tend to be the integrators who take the hard jobs: the multi-site rollouts, the buildings with twenty years of accumulated hardware, the customers who want AI but can't rip out a working access control system to get it. That's exactly the work our platform was built for.

As Brittany Board, PSA's Director of Partnerships, put it in the announcement: "These partnerships create new opportunities for our members to expand their offerings, enter new conversations and address emerging customer needs."

The "enter new conversations" part is the one we'd underline.

What PSA members get access to

Alocity is an AI operating system for physical spaces. In practice, that means video, access control, intercoms and visitor management running on one cloud platform instead of four systems held together with middleware and hope.

Three things that tend to land with integrators:

One platform to learn, not four. Your technicians get trained once. Your service calls stop being a game of "which vendor's portal is this problem in?" And when a customer asks whether the camera system can talk to the door, the answer is just yes.

Retrofit, not rip-and-replace. In September we brought Mercury's open access control infrastructure into the platform. If a customer already has Mercury hardware in the field, you can bring cloud management, AI video and automation to it without pulling panels off the wall. As DJ Atkins, our SVP of channel development, described it at the time: modernize the Mercury environment you already have, without wholesale hardware replacement. For a lot of buildings, that's the difference between a project that gets approved and a project that sits in a proposal folder.

A reason for the customer to keep paying you. Aimee, our AI operator, lets a user investigate an incident, pull a report or automate a response by typing a question in plain language. Nobody needs a certification to use it. That changes the conversation from "here's a system we installed" to "here's a service that keeps getting better," which is a much better foundation for recurring revenue.

What's next

We closed our Series A in July and have been pointing most of that fuel at the channel: enablement materials, demo scripts, ROI one-pagers, co-brandable assets. PSA membership accelerates that work and gives us a lot more integrators to build it with.

If you're a PSA member and want to see the platform on your own footprint, not a canned demo, reach out. Bring your messiest site. Those are the ones we like.
