Alocity Announces Series A Financing for AI Operating Experiences in Physical Spaces
Investment accelerates the next generation of physical security by combining AI Operators, embedded AI video intelligence, and existing security infrastructure into one intelligent operating experience.
Alocity today announced the close of its Series A financing round, fueled by growing demand for AI operating experiences in physical spaces. The investment accelerates development across Alocity's full platform, from AI Operators to embedded video intelligence to open access control.
Why now
Physical security has historically meant a patchwork of disconnected systems — access control, video management, visitor management, and intercom, each with its own dashboard, its own vendor, and its own blind spots. Alocity's platform unifies these systems into a single AI-driven operating experience, and this round reflects growing market confidence in that approach.
"Every building we walk into is running five different security systems that were never designed to talk to each other," said the Alocity leadership team. "This financing lets us move faster on the vision we started with: one intelligent layer that sits on top of whatever hardware a customer already owns and makes it dramatically smarter."
What the investment accelerates
- Expanded engineering capacity for Aimee, Alocity's AI operator for physical security
- Continued investment in embedded AI video intelligence and edge inference hardware (AIVR)
- Deeper native integrations with existing security infrastructure, including Mercury controller hardware
- Go-to-market expansion into new verticals, including government, manufacturing, and data centers
Looking ahead
This round positions Alocity to significantly expand its engineering and go-to-market teams over the next year, with a continued focus on making AI operating experiences the default way organizations manage physical security — without requiring customers to rip out the infrastructure they've already invested in.
