Alocity Launches Aimee, an AI Operator for Physical Security

Aimee watches every camera and access event across a portfolio in real time, triaging incidents and notifying the right person before a human operator would even see the alert.

Alocity today announced the general availability of Aimee, an AI operator built to sit on top of an organization's existing access control and video infrastructure and act as an always-on security analyst.

Why we built Aimee

Security teams are drowning in alerts. A mid-sized portfolio can generate thousands of access events and hundreds of video-based anomalies every day — far more than any human team can triage in real time. Aimee is designed to close that gap.

Aimee continuously monitors every connected door, camera, and sensor across a customer's sites, correlating events across systems that traditionally never talk to each other. When something needs attention — a tailgating event at a secure entrance, a loitering alert in a parking structure, an access anomaly outside of normal hours — Aimee surfaces it immediately with full context, instead of leaving it buried in a log.

What's new

  • Real-time cross-system correlation between access control, video, and visitor management
  • Natural-language incident summaries generated automatically for every flagged event
  • Configurable escalation rules so the right person is notified within seconds
  • A conversational interface so security teams can ask Aimee questions about what happened on-site

"The goal isn't to replace the security team — it's to make sure nothing falls through the cracks while they're doing everything else," said the Alocity product team.

Availability

Aimee is available today to all Alocity Control Center customers at no additional cost during the initial rollout period. Existing customers can enable it from their account settings; new customers can request a demo to see it in action.
